As a former Assistant United States Attorney, I am keenly aware of the rights of individuals and the impact which an arrest or criminal charges may have on their lives. I represent businessmen and other professionals who have been charged with tax fraud, money laundering, embezzlement, political corruption, fraud against the government, drug related offenses. The rights of those charged with criminal acts must be protected. I see to that. In the federal criminal system the prosecutor will often tell the jury that he or she represents the United States. As defense counsel I also represent the United States - one person at a time.
